Hello, everyone! Do you know why is this blog called "Teacher's Life"? Well, it is obvious that I am a teacher. I teach English language in Russia and I work with both kids and adults to help them learn English and be able to speak with foreigners in any country. However, my life has always been connected with teaching.I study journalism, but many years ago I would never think of becoming a writer, I would put my fluffy teddy bears, rabbits, dogs and other toys in three rows, give them pieces of paper and teach them how to read and count. In contrast to child's dreams, my great aunt became an example of how poor and difficult teacher's life is. She is a Math teacher in Shelehov, which is a town close to Irkutsk, where I live and teach. So somehow I decided to become a writer and then a journalist. But teaching just couldn't let me go. For "youdontreallyneedtoknow" years I've taught Russian language, Literature, Dancing and other subjects to children and adults. So I guess becoming a teacher was not even a choice but a destiny. Being a journalist and a teacher at the same time never bothers me, I combine both.
This blog is made, first of all, for my Writing Course: Intensive Blogging students as they make their first steps in this huge blogging world. I will tell more about them in my next post and I will also show their first posts to you, my readers! Feel free to comment on their posts, read it, ask your questions and help them to improve their English! I hope that all together we can make their dream of speaking English fluently possible!
I want to become a teacher who will be remembered. I believe teachers contribute to their students lifes. Do you remember your first teacher? Who do you remember as the best teacher in your life? Is that your Biology teacher, your volleyball coach or your Mom?
